How the System Works

Well, I started working on this system back in March 2009. It’s now May 2010 and I’m doing well – better than expected, actually. I’ve shared my success with some people (including my parents, who I am now helping get started) and they want to know how to get started and what’s involved, so here’s an article where I’ll try to explain how it works and what you need to do.

If you’re still reading, then I’ll let you in on what this is…

You may have seen some spam email or things advertised in various places that tell you that you can make money from home, make money from Google, make money typing or make money in your spare time. Yes, this system is exactly that but it’s different because it works.

With some of these programs that you see advertised, all they want to do is get you to sign up, buy some expensive materials or course and then that’s it. They’ve made their money and are done with you. They know that 90% of those people will give up.

Not Everyone Will Succeed

I would bet that probably 80% of the people reading this blog entry would try this and not succeed. That’s right, only 20% of you will. Why? Well, for a few reasons.

Are You Addicted to Paychecks?

You may be what we call “addicted to paychecks.” We’re all raised up in a system where if we do work, we’ll get paid for it in a short time. That’s our society. Mark (you’ll meet him later) said something in a monthly webinar last week that I think is true… people who end up making a lot of money at their jobs do not have this mentality. They are fine with working and working and getting paid later. Many people (probably 80% of you) cannot handle this and they will fail.

If you can’t handle that, then leave – seriously. Not everyone can. It’s ok.

I’ve been an entrepreneur for a while now and am definitely not addicted to paychecks. I’ve gone months without getting paid knowing that my business will succeed and I will get paid more later for the sacrifice I was making then. That’s one advantage I had going into this system and I know most people cannot handle that. There are some who can, though.

You also need the self-motivation to keep going even when you do not see results. You didn’t earn much for today, for this week, for this month – what do you do? Do you give up or keep the faith that all this work will eventually pay off?

When Do You Start Seeing Results?

You can expect to start seeing something in about 6-12 months. That can seem like a long time and, well, it is. Can you wait that long? Can you keep going? Do you believe that in a year you’ll be making good money for the work you did 6 or more months ago? That is what you need to succeed with this type of business. What Do You Have to Do?

You’re going to be doing a number of things:

First, you’ll have to set up a few websites. There are some videos to help you though. Will I help you with that? No, I will not. You are on your own. I’ve seen people in their 50s and 60s do it, so I think about anyone can. Do I have an advantage since I’ve been designing websites since 1993? Yeah, of course. Does someone who wants to be in this system need that? No. Not at all.

Second, you’ll have to do some writing. See the writing that I’m doing right here? It’s pretty casual, right? That’s the level you’re shooting for. If you can talk, you can probably write like this. If you can’t, then this will be tougher for you. You do have some options. There is speech to text software that people use and it works well. I have it. You can also hire people to write articles for you. You’ll pay from $4-6 per article, so you’ll need to first save up a few hundred dollars but you can still do this.

Third, you’ll need what I’ve been talking about above – self-motivation and drive. The mental part of this is probably the most difficult for people. Working without getting paid is not easy. My first $10 on AdSense was probably my happiest and still is even though I’m making much more than that. It was then that I saw the potential of this thing and my first noticeable results.

Here is what I wrote about 3 months in when I hit that mark:

Yesterday was the first day I conquered $10 in one day on AdSense. My previous record was $7.

I know it’s not a high amount but I’m happy to see it and I know it’ll keep going up if I keep doing this course. Some progress is nice to see and helps to keep you going.

I got encouragement from several people in the group then. I was flying high. You’ll have that experience, too, if you stick with it.

Fourth… lather, rinse, repeat. Once you’re set up, you’ll be writing lots of articles. Lots! You will go through the process of picking keywords (which is easier now than when I started in the group – they keep coming up with more and more great tools) and you’ll set up about 5 websites with 5 articles each and then write 5 more articles that will point to that each website. Basically, about 20 articles for 1 keyword.

Why that many articles?

Well, if it were easy to do this, then I’d think that everyone would do it and if everyone would do it, then it would no longer be easy… right?

It may even take twice that. My main website that I have probably has close to 500 articles pointing at it. My goal used to be to post one per day so that I’d have 30 more each month but now I’m doubling that to 2 per day – that’s my new goal. I do have the luxury of hiring people to write most of those but I do write some myself. I like to get my hands a little dirty in whatever I do.

Fifth… collect paychecks. Most people are using Google AdSense. It’s free to join it. You’ll do that in about your fourth month so that you can build up your first $100 for your sixth or seventh or eighth month. Once you start making about $1000 per month, it gets so easy – believe me.

Is Anyone Still Reading?

Well, if I haven’t scared you off yet, then you may be a good candidate for joining the system that I’m in. To reward you for reading up to this point, I want to show you what I’ve made in the last 7 days – this should raise your spirits a bit:

And it keeps going up! The interesting thing is that you go up and down each day but you end up on a steady upward trend. If you have a day where you don’t make much, you don’t freak out but know that things will eventually keep going up. Some people even choose to not check their AdSense stats for a month. I can’t do that but I’ve learned to not freak out, which took a little while but now I’m cool with not making much some days. There are things I can’t control – for instance, if it’s nice weather outside, then there’s less Internet traffic in general. Pray for bad weather!

I buy hundreds of dollars of articles each month but I know exactly which ones to buy, what they should be about, where to post them and what they should point to. That’s the beauty of this system and course. I’ve met up with the experts and by doing that, they’ve given me the shortcuts – they tell me what to do and how and it works. There are many students in the course. Some are even making $15,000.00 per month, working at home. These are not fake numbers – I know these people.

Does It Keep Working? Am I Tied Down?

Heck no! Take a week off and you still make money!

Would you rather get paid once, right away, for the work that you do or get paid a little later for that work but also keep on getting paid for that work that you did?

There are 2 examples / stories that I like to give people.

The first is one guy in the group, Fraser. His wife set up a website using these methods a few years ago. She set up 1 website with 200 articles on it and the articles were only 150 words each, which is actually pretty low. Guess what? She hasn’t done anything with that website in years and keeps on making about $200 per month! That’s a residual income. That’s free groceries or free gas – think about it!

The second story is another website that I’ve owned for a while. I’ve been running AdSense on that site for years and it has steadily made $400 on up per month – even if I only worked 4 hours on that site a month. That’s $100 per hour!

So I’ve seen this work and have seen that if you follow the right methods, you get spring boarded way ahead and it works even better.

Join the Course / Get the System!

Let’s lay down your out of pocket costs on this and get to the bottom line. They look like this:

1. You’ll Join TKA which is just $1 for your first month. That’s all you have to do right now. That’s very low risk. The lowest you can get, actually, besides no risk at all. After that, it’s $67 per month. It used to be $33 but they raised it since they have so many more tools available now that really save you time – much higher value than there used to be.
2. You’ll buy a domain name or two – at least two. Those are about $8 per year.
3. You’ll buy a website hosting account. That’s $10 per month.

That’s it, really.

Your initial investment is just $1!

After that, you can buy 2-5 domains, need just 1 hosting account for all of them (through Hostgator) which has unlimited domain names (get the “Baby” package), and you’re off and running. If you stay in the program, then the following months are the $67 per month. If the price goes up, what they have been doing is locking you in at the price you started at – so plan on it being that price for you from now on. I can’t see it going up too much more but you never know… they keep adding great tools and with each of those, support is needed.

Why would I stay in the program if I can check out all the videos and get things going the first month?

Well, you could do that but you’d be missing out on a number of awesome things:

• Postrunner – this is probably the heart of the system right now that lets you get and post articles everywhere.
• Niche Refinery – this is a tool that makes it easy to research keywords, a real time saver.
• Connect Content – this isn’t used as much but is still useful for getting links.
• Monthly Webinars – get coaching and get your questions answered – live, from the experts.
• TKA Forums – ask questions any time and get help.
• New Tools – there are always new things coming out that make things easier. This is a great group.
• Direct Coaching – you get 2 sessions on the phone from the masters themselves.
• Extra Motivation – right now, they have “The Team” training / newsletter which is helping us to get 1000 people making $1000 per month.

Like I said, there are more things coming out all the time. It’s a small investment, really.

The Bottom, Bottom Line

Treat this like a business. It’s your own, little business and you’re the boss!

Raise some seed money with a part time job first, if you have to. Save up a few hundred and then go into it if that’s how you operate. Then set aside a place and specific time each day or each week to work on this – you have to keep going or you will fail. With this system, you have the plan, the tools and support for you to reach your goals – if they’re an extra $100 per month or extra $5000 per month (or more).

My goal is $15,000 per month. That’s $180,000 per year. I figure with that much coming in all the time, I will have everything paid off (even my house) and be able to retire early, travel and do whatever I want.
